Conduit Be Blessed to come closer to the Lord to be blessed. TS

First of all, we are truly blessed to be able to come into the presence of the Lord through the redeeming work of the cross, accomplished by His only Son, Jesus Christ. I’ll be honest, I can sometimes take that for granted, and I know I definitely did before I really walked with Him for a while.

To be blessed by God is to experience His favor, His presence, and His grace in a way that brings deep, lasting joy, even when life isn’t easy. It’s not just about material gain. It’s about being forgiven, chosen, and spiritually sustained through faith in Jesus. It’s living as someone “set apart” to reflect His love and purpose.

God blesses us through spiritual grace and everyday provision, most of all by giving us Himself: His love, His presence, and His salvation. His blessings often look like forgiveness, peace, joy, protection, and strength in the middle of trials. Sometimes they show up through health, relationships, and meeting practical needs, but even those are often meant to equip us to bless others.

And here’s the beautiful part: God’s blessings are designed to draw us closer. They cultivate gratitude, build trust, and reveal His heart. Instead of stopping at the gift, they invite us to seek the Giver, leading to deeper intimacy with Him, renewed hope, and a growing desire to obey and worship.

So we acknowledge His blessings with gratitude, steward them to bring Him glory, and share them generously. We hold everything with open hands, remembering God is the source, and we use what He’s placed in our lives, our talents, resources, and opportunities, to serve Him and strengthen the people around us.
